Health Care Legislation
Introduction
On March 23, 2010 President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (H.R.3590) followed by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act on March 30 (H.R. 4872). Together these reforms trigger sweeping changes that will unfold over years, with many of the major provisions becoming effective in 2014. In order to help library patrons, consumers and businesses understand the impact of the legislation we have compiled a list of websites that will allow you to understand the effects on our community.
