The hours of service for the Business & Career Library are changing temporarily over the summer due to the lack of air conditioning in the building.

In order to ensure services and programs that support you as you start up a business, do research on your business plan, search for a job, or look for financial information, we’ve relocated almost all of our events to the Central Library at Grand Army Plaza . Please check the listings on our program and events calendar carefully for locations and start times: www.bklynpubliclibrary.org/locations/business/events/

• Beginning in June all one-on-one counseling will take place at the Information Commons at the Central Library, except for STEP Career and Job Support which will continue to take place at 280 Cadman Plaza West on Tuesdays from 2 -4 pm through June 18.
• Beginning in June all programs and classes will take place at the Central Library; please check listings for exact room.
• New Hours starting July 1: The Business & Career Library will maintain the following hours regardless of the temperature:
  8 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday
  9 am to 1 pm Saturdays

These new hours don’t take effect until July 1. Throughout June we may close early IF the temperature in the building reaches a level of heat and humidity that is designated as too high for working conditions. Unscheduled closures will be posted on this web page; please check before visiting the Business & Career Library in June.
