Closed for Renovation
Due to damage from Hurricane Sandy the Gerritsen Beach Library is temporarily closed. Bookmobile Service is currently being provided on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 AM until 4 PM.
Any questions regarding library Hold material please direct them to Kings Bay library at 718.368.1709.
In 1997, the library moved to its new 10,000-square-foot facility. A clock tower and two-story picture window overlooking the Shell Bank Channel, reflect the character of this waterfront community. Its two large gardens are tended by the same active community groups that have supported the library for the past 65 years.
