Free Outdoor Concerts at Brooklyn Public Library!
Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) invites the entire community to experience the excitement of free, live concerts on Central Library’s newly renovated plaza at Grand Army Plaza. BPL’s first outdoor concert series will showcase a variety of talented musicians and diverse genres to appeal to the broad spectrum of music lovers. The plaza, situated above BPL’s forthcoming auditorium, the Dr. S. Stevan Dweck Center for Contemporary Culture, features a landscaped garden, fountains, performance space and wireless Internet service. With space to read and socialize, the plaza will be a great place for the community gather.

They’ve brought their bluesy swagger to the Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall and countless other venues around the city. Their song, “Woman,” was featured on MTV’s The Hills, and they’re one of Absolute Punk.net’s “Top 100 Band to Watch.”
