Greenpoint Library Temporary Closing for Roof Replacement

Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) will be closing its Greenpoint Library, located at 107 Norman Avenue, to replace its roof. In addition, repairs will also be made to the building’s façade, ceiling tiles and interior lighting. The branch will close to the public at the end of the day, on Friday, June 4 and reopen on or before Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

While this work is being completed, Bookmobile service will be provided in front of Greenpoint Library on Tuesdays from June 8 through August 31, from 11AM-4PM.

During this time, we encourage customers to visit our website at to renew materials, place holds, search our catalog and explore our databases. You may also return materials to any BPL location, or renew books by phone at 718.230.6700, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
