Pre-GED and ESOL Class Registration

Pre-GED Class Registrations

In Brooklyn Public Library's Pre-GED classes, you practice reading, writing, math, and critical thinking that form the foundation of GED success.

Registration in person is required.  Please arrive on time, bring a pen, and plan on staying for three hours.

English Class (ESOL) Registrations

In Brooklyn Public Library's ESOL classes, you practice listening, speaking, reading and writing English for everyday needs.  English classes are taught by experienced teachers.

Registration in person is required, as you will take a test during the registration. Come early. Space is limited and classes close quickly!

The next registrations for ESOL classes will be in fall 2013.  Check this website or visit your local library in August for a full listing of registration dates, times and locations.

Pre-GED and ESOL classes are supported by generous grants from the New York State Education Department, Office of Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (ACCES).  The Young Adult Literacy Program, Back on Track, is supported by generous grants from the City of New York, Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO) and Department of Probations.
