Annual Gala
Due to Hurricane Sandy, BPL’s annual gala has been rescheduled for February 5, 2013.
Please join us for our 16th annual gala on February 5, 2013 as we recognize Colson Whitehead, acclaimed author of the novels Zone One, Sag Harbor and The Intuitionist, among others; Bruce Norris, the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of “Clybourne Park"; and Greg Clayman, Global Digital Strategy for News Corporation.
The evening will commence with a cocktail reception and awards ceremony at the Wythe Hotel from 6:30 – 8 PM. We will then continue the festivities at Brooklyn Bowl, where guests will enjoy live music with Antibalas, bowling, a live auction, dancing and dinner by Blue Ribbon. Come celebrate and support Brooklyn Public Library!
