Bookmobile @ Gravesend Park
Mapleton branch Bookmobile service will continue throughout Spring 2024 at the intersection at Gravesend Park, on 18th Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets. We provide reference services, and point patrons towards library and community resources. There will also be other programs that can be enjoyed at other neighborhood locations during the temporary closure.
The Brooklyn Public Library Bookmobile provides library services on the road. Patrons can browse a variety of books in a relaxed outdoor setting, get a library card, or avail themselves of reference services through Bookmobile staff. The bookmobile also provides free WIFI compliments of BPL’s Brooklyn Reach program.
