Our 'Embracing Artistic Growth: A Journey Through Acrylics' program invites Older Adults to explore the vibrant world of acrylic painting over nine weeks. Each session is designed to build upon the last, from foundational techniques to the nuances of personal expression. Participants will explore into various themes and topics, such as landscapes, portraits, and abstract art, enhancing their skills and confidence.

Beyond the canvas, this program aims to foster a sense of community and
belonging, encouraging social engagement through art. 

Join us to discover not just the joy of painting but the joy of connection.

No experience necessary.

Program available through Services for Older Adults Department/Outreach Services.

Services for Older Adults is partially funded by Coordinated Outreach Library Services aid from the New York State Education Department, administered by the State Library’s Division of Library Development. All programs are sponsored by Brooklyn Public Library’s Department of Outreach Services.
